Nutrition note

Fruit provides vitamin C and carbohydrate; yogurt adds protein and calcium. Oats add fiber.

Ingredients

  • 11 banana, cut into 12 thick rounds
  • 26 strawberries, hulled and halved lengthwise
  • 31/2 cup (120 g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 42 tablespoons finely ground oats

Method

  1. 1

Line a small tray with baking paper.

  2. 2

Top each banana round with a strawberry half, using a little yogurt to help it stick.

  3. 3

Spoon yogurt over each stack and sprinkle with ground oats.

  4. 4

Freeze for 2 hours. Let soften for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Complete the Snack

Serve 1–2 softened bites with water.

Allergens

Contains dairy; oats may have gluten cross-contact.

Ingredient Substitutions

  • Use fortified soy yogurt for dairy-free bites.
  • Use certified gluten-free oats when required.
  • Use peach slices instead of strawberries.

Storage

Keep frozen for up to 2 weeks.

Freezer Guidance
